EcoMeditation is a non-pharmacological therapeutic approach developed by Dawson Church. Dawson is a journal editor, researcher, international lecturer, and author of several award-winning science books including his best-sellers Mind to Matter and Bliss Brain: The Neuroscience of Remodeling Your Brain for Resilience, Creativity, and Joy. It is used to promote health and well-being, involving four evidence-based techniques: The Quick Coherence Technique for regulating heart rate variability (HRV), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), mindfulness, and neurofeedback.

Research studies published in peer reviewed professional journals have validated the remarkable benefits of EcoMeditation.

How It Works

STEP BY STEP PROCESS

Not to worry, at the beginning of the EcoMeditations, you will be guided through this process.

Image: Dawson Church showing tapping points

1.  Hold the intention that you are in a calm & peaceful state. Nothing matters except the gift of undisturbed time you are now giving yourself. Allow yourself to be fully present.

2.  You will be guided to become aware of your breathing, then cross your hands over your heart. You then use your fingertips to tap lightly on the side of your hand.

3.  As you tap, "I now release anything and everything that stands between me and inner peace."

4.  Switch hands, tap again, "I now release anything in my mind, anything in my heart, anything in my body, that stands between me and inner peace."  Stop tapping & relax your hands.

You will be guided to do the following.

Close your eyes and let your tongue be relaxed on the floor of your mouth.

Feel (sense) the space inside your feet, hands, arms, torso, head...

Picture the big empty space behind your eyes.

If any thoughts arise during this meditation, simply let them go like clouds across the sky.
